⛏️ Cuyuna Trails Dirtcast | July 10–13 There’s a lot happening out here in Cuyuna Country this weekend: → Switchback Trail Closure | Repairs begin today, July 10, and are expected to continue through July 13. Please use the paved Cuyuna Lakes State Trail as a bypass while the Crew and MN DNR complete major dirt work. → Music in the Park | Thursday, July 10 | Swing by Crosby Memorial Park tonight at 5! The Crew will have a table with t-shirts, stickers, and info on how to become a member. Membership unlocks our Crew chat, pro deals, email updates, and more. → Bike Park Celebration | Saturday, July 12 | We’re heading to Brainerd to celebrate Northland Arboretum's new bike park! Clinics, bikes, beverages, and good times. Come hang. → Rain Reminder | Cuyuna’s red dirt is rideable shortly after most rain events. Trails usually reopen 1–2 hours after rain ends unless otherwise posted. → Trail Etiquette | Ride with respect. Follow posted trail direction, pull off to the side when stopping, call out "on your left" when passing on the paved trail, and give space to volunteers or staff working on the trail.

Overview
The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails are located primarily within the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area and two trails, Cruser’s Kettle and Cuyuna Connector, are located mostly on county land. The main parking areas and trailheads are: Miners Mountain Rally Center near Ironton, the Sagamore Unit Rally Center near Riverton, the Yawkey Unit parking area located just north of Crosby off hwy 6, and the West Mahnomen parking area off county road 128. Each of these parking areas require a daily or annual Mn State Park parking permit. Free parking options include the Riverton Trailhead on the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail (county 128 and Rowe Road) or the Croft Mine parking area located at the start of the road leading to the Yawkey Unit off hwy 6 north of Crosby. Cruser’s Kettle also offers a free parking trailhead on Iron Hub road an half mile east of the city of Cuyuna.

Weather Policy
Trails are open for the summer season. Trails are closed when rain is falling and open back up again an hour or two after the rain stops in most cases. Cruser’s Kettle trail is an exception to the normal rules because it is natural soil and takes longer to dry out. Allow 24 hours after any heavy or significant rain events before riding the Kettle.
